Jessie is great, and I had an amazing time with her this weekend.
For the sake of remembering – because I suck at remembering, we took a weekend trip up to Edmonton together.
We held hands on the way up, and on the way down.
We looked at each other in front of my friends bar, Clementine, where he made us off-menu drinks and food. I remember how easy it was to get along with her and how good it felt to be next to her. Holding her, kissing her, and laughing with her.
Reid was amazing, being so accommodating while treating us like the best guests in the house, practically forgetting that there were other patrons to be served.
We had arrived via Uber.
I love how Jessie is so spiritual. She’s so positive and sees so much good in the world. On Saturday, I spent a couple hours to catch up some work. She took the chance to walk down to the river, walk by herself where she saw a beaver! I thought that was really cute.
She was so excited. Afterwards we came back and went to the hot tub together and just enjoyed relaxing.
We went to the rave together. She looked so beautiful. Holding her while dancing, making sure she felt okay, was amazing. Also, there were some other people in the line-up that were also from Calgary, and kept us warm in the freezing temperature all the way to the door!
I wrote a few paragraphs about how she opened up with her history, but I don’t think that’s something we need to remember. She had cried in the car, but during that time, we held hands, kissed and looked at each other.
When we sleep she feels heavy on me as I hold her. She also gave me a gift. I need to figure out how to use it, but she trusts me.
I think Jess is special.
